One of Charlie's last games and Mom made sure to capture some of the great plays. I missed one though- Chuck pulled a fast one on Mom and decided that he would switch hit to a leftie and made a great play (camera was just not fast enough). We have some great pictures of our Little Slugger.......

Waiting for the Pool.....
This year we were were a little bit slower getting the pool up for the kids being it has been SO COLD out lately (and we needed to remove a stump- cough cough) Sorry- so we finally started working on it and this kids were so anxious that they actually jumped right in mid filling- freezing cold water and all. They still had a GREAT time in the water as always!
Now don't let this little girls face fool you in this picture:
Notice she is spraying her brother in one moment and the next she takes off running screaming and "tattling" on her brother. Little does she know- Mom got it all on camera!!! LOL LOL

Tuckered out Chuck
If any of you knew Chuck as a baby or a toddler you would laugh
at the numerous pictures I have of a child that would fall asleep
at a drop of a hat. Seriously - I have pictures of this kid sleeping
at the table; silverware in hand and food half in the mouth. I just
had to laugh as I walked into the living room on this night to find...

Notice two things- 1) he is still wearing his baseball uniform for the
night and 2) those Cheeto's are Jalapeno ones - thanks to Aunt
Bridgit for hooking the kids on those (surprisingly not Dad). Some
things never change - this kid can fall asleep on a dime. He still
is my baby no matter how big he gets. :0 )

Happy Birthday & Happy Father's Day!!!!!
Jon celebrates his brithday and Fathers day all on the same day.
It happens every once every few years that Jon's Birthday falls on the
same day as Fathers day and this year we were close. Jon was very
busy with Baseball so we celebrated it all on the same day. The kids
always give away Mom's secrets - trying to make a cake for Dad and
they admit- "I didn't help, Mom did it all!!!" have to LOVE thier
honesty though! Nice family dinner and cake and Ice Cream for
all - I don't know who liked it more Dad or the kids. :)
Madie counted out the candles this year- Dad had to laugh
though when she made him a year older than he really was.

Coaches Pitch Slugger

From T-ball to Coaches pitch we go.......& Charlie has just as much fun as his sister at every game. There is nothing greater than to see your child running down the 1st baseline cheering to his own hit over the 2nd baseman, and a grin from ear to ear! Charlie is really learning the objectives of the game & is always ready to play, home or on the field, baseball is the game!!
Great stance their Chuck man! 2nd picture there Chuck discusses strategy with his team mates, 3rd picture- in outfield, Charlie waits for that fly ball!!
T-Ball Diva

Leftie or Rightie?? This girl is learning both ways at a young age and doing great with it. She loves playing and running the bases all the way around for the "Home Run Mom!" (teaching a run vs home run yet :)!!) She is so seriously waiting and watching for the ball to be hit and runs like the wind once the makes her play. Keep up the good work Madie!!
Scooting Around
You know summer is here when you see kids running round barefoot, sushies are in large demand, and the bikes & scooters are out and going up and down the sidewalks. It might be a little cool out yet to get out the pool but this Sunday afternoon was one to remember as the kids giggled and laughed as they chased each other up and down the sidwalk with their friends Ben and Lucas. : )
Birthday Friends

Mom's always have rules and the rule is - you can only have as many friends over as you are old- and 6 was the magic number this year for the party. I still cannot believe that our baby is 6 years old.
The girls had a BLAST as they had a pinic lunch, made a project, ate some cupcakes, ice cream, & had slushies. The girls ran around giggling and screaming and even tourtured Big Brother Chuck as they played "Ding Dong Ditch" with his bedroom door. Playing outside and sharing secrets was all in an afternoon of fun. Happy Birthday Madie!!!
Happy Birthday to Ambrea who is only a couple days apart- our girls are not little anymore Tab!
Happy Birthday Madison
Look who is 6 years old??!!!
I can't believe that our baby girl has turned 6 years old. It only seems like yesterday that I was holding that small bundle of joy in my arms. Now she is a tall, skinny, sassy little girl that has wonderful character & personality that makes you laugh one moment with her wise-n-hammer jokes which by the way are the same ones that about pull your hair out the next moment. I wouldn't trade her for the world - she is all mine and I love everything about her character & personality. I just hope that she will continue to keep that viverent personality as she grows up- it is unique and cherished.
